![]() Janette Kratina – Administrative Assistant Jim takes a great deal of pride in providing exceptional customer service and a high quality of work as well Prior to joining K2GC Jim was a Superintendent for Meritage Homes, an Installation Manager for Builders Show Case Interiors & also founded his own General Contractor company. Jim has been a licensed (B Class) General Contractor since 1992 and also has a C-15 Class Flooring license since 1995. Jim McCarthy is our Superintendent with over 25 years of General Construction experience. Kenny’s belief that it is not only our job and work ethic that defines us, but also our willingness to be involved and help support our community. He is frequently donating time and sponsoring youth athletics and other youth activities. To this day Kenny handles the business with similar family values that were taught to him growing up in the business. After a brief period of working in HVAC industry, Kenny came back to his true calling, rebuilding and remodeling homes. ![]() In 2003 Kenny left the family business due to philosophical differences. In 2000 Kenny earned his California State Contractor’s license. After a period of time Kenny had begun handling the day to day operations of the family construction company. ![]() After time the natural progression led him into the office as a Project Manager, then next an estimator. With the wide array of trades required to rebuild a home from fire or water damage, Kenny became skilled in many different facets of construction. During which time he worked his way up the ranks starting as a laborer, progressing into a carpenter. All through school and right after graduating from Antioch High School, Kenny worked for his family owned and operated construction company in Antioch called Turnage Construction. By the time he was thirteen, it was evident that the building, remodeling and repairing of homes was to become his calling. Kenny was born into the construction industry. Traveling with my husband and taking family vacations. I enjoy boating and water skiing when I have the opportunity. Hiking with my family and other outdoor activities. Gardening, sewing, crafts, home improvement projects, and holiday decorating. Personal interests (hobbies, talents, etc.) The diversity of our workforce also brings forth innovative ideas to continuously improve the company. Each plant has their own culture, but all share similar values of family, trust, leadership, respect. I am amazed by the efforts made by the employees on the production floors to achieve safe production and quality products. What about Bonnell Aluminum makes it a great place to work? I enjoy giving back to the community with Christmas toy drives for local families, and volunteer/chaperone with high school Marching Band/Color Guard and Boy Scouts. I value conservation, nature, and clean drinking water. My passions are raising my 3 kids and spending time with family and friends. The program extended over the course of a year with 5 weekly sessions conducted in different regions of the State to be immersed within the natural and cultural elements of that area.
